School’s Back! Let’s Give Back!

from June 10 to 13, UnITEd representatives will be collecting the following materials for the kids of St. La Salle Preschool:

pencils
erasers
crayons (Leone Brand)
pad papers (Best Buy)
drawing books (best buy)
brown envelopes (long & short)
rulers
sharpeners
art papers (assorted colors – Best Buy)

drop boxes will also be placed at the
14th, 16th & 17th floor of Andrew Building

Let’s all give some time and effort to give back to our community.

A pad paper, an eraser or a single pencil would go a long way.

The St. La Salle Preschoolers would truly appreciate it!

11/10/08--08:49: CED! Let's All Join This Special Event: 'FOR THE KIDS' (FTK) (chan 2268973)

Greetings fellow CED students!

As you all know, the Center of Social Concern and Action (COSCA) spearheads an annual event entitled “For the Kids!”(FTK).  It is in this event that DLSU students are given the opportunity to be an ate or kuya  to a special child for a day. On this very special day, the volunteer ate’s and kuya’s along with the special children who would be coming from different public schools, would get to play games such as softball throw, tennis ball throw, standing long jump, 25/50/75- m run/walk, parlor games, and basketball shooting with more than 500 special children from different schools and centers in Metro Manila.

 

In line with this, COSCA and UnITEd would like to invite you and your friends (as 2 volunteers is assigned to 1 child) to join us in placing a smile on these children’s faces for one special day which would be on the 28^th of January 2009 (Sunday). This event will be held at DLSU Manila from 7 am to 3 pm.
